Requirements
- Collaborate with engineering and business teams to collect NPI demand, ensuring specific requirements are understood and documented
- Monitor and validate master data completeness and accuracy (individual components and their BOMs)
- Employ Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions to produce a weekly build plan that meets the business need
- Confirm manufacturing teams reserve capacity and purchase direct materials to support NPI needs
- Bring awareness of supply shortages and capacity constraints to appropriate stakeholders. Resolve supply gaps where possible
- Transfer responsibilities to high-volume planners after product has launched
- Help steer development of evolving Strategic Planning job role
