The Business Development Representative (BDR) role is a key contributor to Nium’s revenue engine, responsible for driving qualified pipeline through strategic inbound lead qualification and targeted outbound prospecting. The ideal candidate has a strong track record of exceeding pipeline targets, familiarity with modern sales methodologies, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-moving, international environment.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or inside sales role, with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding quota
- Experience in fintech, payments, SaaS, or financial services strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of outbound prospecting strategies, account-based selling, and qualification methodologies
- Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and economic buyers with credibility and confidence
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and sales engagement platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to tailor messaging to diverse audiences and geographies
- Highly organized with the ability to manage a large number of active prospects simultaneously
- Analytically minded with the ability to track personal performance metrics and self-correct
- Familiarity with cross-border payments, FX, treasury, or related financial products is a plus
- Experience selling into international markets is advantageous
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience preferred
