As a Strategic Planning Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of Ochsner Health by providing data and data-driven insights that guide executive decision-making, long-term planning, and growth strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, mathematics, statistics, computer science or related field.
- 1 year of experience in data analysis, trending, forecasting and reporting in healthcare.
- Intermediate computer software knowledge including Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, and Power Point and database applications experience.
- Strong competency in Excel, Tableau, or other data analysis, mapping, and/or visualization software.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with leadership and support staff.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent judgement and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of current federal, state and local laws, accreditation standards or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility and ensures compliance with all such laws, regulations and standards.
