About the Role
We are looking for a Strategic Finance Associate to help drive Ramp’s next phase of growth! This role will be a key strategic partner to our Go-To-Market (GTM) and Product teams, deciding both (1) what our financial goals are and (2) how we will achieve them. The Strategic Finance team owns key decisions around how we allocate and prioritize Ramp’s time and resources, and we are looking for a stellar associate to quickly take on a large scope.
You will also have regular exposure to Ramp’s Leadership team and visibility into the work of other cross-functional leaders. This high-impact position represents a unique opportunity to join one of the country’s fastest-growing startups and a pivotal moment in our trajectory.
What You’ll Do
- Use data to influence and inform key strategic Product and GTM decisions
- Lead planning analyses for cross-functional teams and evaluate organizational tradeoffs
- Build and own detailed financial and operational models, ensuring the highest quality and accuracy
- Identify and develop KPIs; build dashboards to monitor success and communicate insights to relevant stakeholders
What You Need
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Management Consulting, and Corporate Finance at a top-tier technology company
- Extreme attention to detail with a high regard for precision
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Track record of developing and maintaining relationships with both internal and external partners
- Excellent financial modeling and quantitative / data analysis skills
- A “get things done” mentality; you can dissect complex problems, identify solutions, and drive these solutions to completion with a high degree of autonomy

- Expertise with Looker, SQL, and/or Python
Compensation
- The annual salary range for the target level for this role is $110,500 – $130,000 + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)
