Data Engineer & BI

We are seeking a Data Engineer & BI Developer to design, build, and scale data and analytics capabilities for the Perceptiv Platform, an Industrial IoT SaaS solution focused on condition monitoring, asset intelligence, and enterprise integration.

Requirements

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and storage of IoT data using Azure data services, modern lakehouse architectures, and enterprise integration layers.
• Implement ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Optimize data storage formats and data partitioning strategies.
• Ensure data quality, validation, and consistency across pipelines.
• Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI and Grafana.
• Build semantic data models for OEE, downtime, and machine performance, asset health and condition monitoring.
• Optimize dashboard performance for large-scale datasets.
• Implement row-level security and tenant-aware data access.
• Enable integration between Perceptiv platform and enterprise systems such as Salesforce CRM and SAP ERP.
• Design and implement API-based integrations using Azure API Management and event-driven integration using Event Hub/Service Bus.
• Prepare and structure data for predictive maintenance, AI/ML use cases, time-series analytics, anomaly detection, and trend analysis.
• Optimize queries and workloads in Synapse/Fabric, reduce cloud costs through efficient data modeling, storage lifecycle management, and query optimization techniques.
• Implement RBAC and secure data access patterns, ensure compliance with enterprise data governance and SOC2 requirements, enable audit logging and monitoring for data access and usage.
