Cognito Systems LLC is seeking a Data Analyst to provide technical and administrative program support to the Gulf Coast Ecosystem Restoration Council (GCERC). The successful candidate will work directly for the GCERC Programs Supervisor and will support day-to-day data entry, records management, programmatic document development, and SharePoint data operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in data management, information management, business administration, data science, or a closely related field
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint; and Google Suite applications including Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides
- Experience organizing and managing data; extracting data from databases; developing and generating information and summary data to support technical evaluations, management, and financial record keeping
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines without daily supervision
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to successfully pass a Public Trust (NACI Tier 1) background investigation and federal background check prior to beginning work
