Data Engineer

Rogers is seeking a Data Engineer to join the Data & AI team, supporting enterprise-scale data platforms and automation-driven data product development. This role focuses on building, automating, and operating modern data pipelines and analytics platforms using cloud-native services and AI-enabled tooling.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience in data engineering with a focus on automation and cloud-native platforms.
  • Proven experience with Azure Data Factory / Databricks / Snowflake in production environments.
  • Experience working within Azure cloud environments.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL databases, data modeling, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with Python (or similar) for data processing, automation, and orchestration.
  • Understanding of data governance, security, and enterprise-scale data architecture principles.
  • Experience managing GitHub repositories and applying branching strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Familiarity with AI, Generative AI, LLMs, and how they integrate into modern data platforms is an asset.
