Collins Aerospace is seeking a Data Scientist to help unlock the power of data across our organization. In this role, you will analyze complex datasets, build predictive models, and deliver insights that influence strategic decisions and enhance performance across the company.
Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience
- Experience in operations, supply chain, data engineering, and/or data analytics or bachelor’s in engineering, computer science, applied mathematics, economics, or related technical field
- Experience using MRP, ERP, and MES systems (SAP preferred)
- Experience in design, implementations, and optimization in relational SQL databases
- Experience with data cleansing, curation, mining, manipulation, and analysis from disparate systems (SQL, Python preferred)
- Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex and ambiguous situations
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment remotely
- Experience in a technical or software development environment
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Experience with driving process improvements (e.g., CORE, 6Sigma, etc.)
