Director, Product Operations

Samsara is seeking a Director of Product Operations to lead the product development engine, driving clarity, speed, and discipline across the organization. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in product management, product operations, or a closely related field, with a proven track record of building and scaling operational systems and processes. The role involves owning the product operating model, driving cross-functional accountability, leading a team of Product Operations managers, and championing Samsara’s cultural principles.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in product management, product operations, program management, or a closely related field
• 5+ years in a product operations, chief of staff, or senior program management role within a product-led technology company
• Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive product decisions, measure success, and identify opportunities
• Excellent communication and influence skills; able to drive work to clear conclusions, proactively escalate to maintain momentum, and surface disagreements early and directly
• First-hand experience using AI tools to build, prototype, or analyze data
• Experience operating in a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment
