Sandvik Coromant is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their team in Pune, India. The successful candidate will transform business and data requirements into efficient pipelines and collaborate with architects on solutions to deliver high-quality data assets across all medallion layers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Sciences.
- Minimum 2 to 8 years of experience in a leading data engineering role, dependent on the seniority level of the position.
- Minimum 2 to 8 years of experience in agile product team organization.
- Proven hands-on expertise with (Azure) Databricks Lakehouse technology.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, and related services
- Hands-on experience with Business Intelligence technologies is beneficial. Preferably Microsoft Power BI.
- Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
- For senior roles: Experience leading development teams, including task delegation and mentoring junior developers
