POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Head of Revenue Operations, this role partners closely with sales leadership, account executives, finance, legal, and contract administration to resolve operational issues, govern deal execution, and deliver the reporting and insights that enable data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate brings hands-on sales operations experience in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) or enterprise software environment with Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) business models and is a confident power user of Salesforce CPQ and Revenue Cloud.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the end-to-end deal desk process, including preparing meeting agendas, applying deal qualification criteria to submissions, and sharing meeting minutes with clear action items and owners.
  • Review non-standard deal structures, pricing, discounting, and commercial terms against approval policies, and coordinate approvals with sales leadership, finance, and legal.
  • Liaise with opportunity owners and the contract administration team to resolve items flagged after opportunity closure and ensure accurate bookings.
  • Design and develop custom reports and dashboards for critical sales metrics, including sales pipeline analysis, rolling four-quarter (4Q) trends, bookings, and revenue forecasting.
  • Create and maintain client contract renewal tracking reports to monitor upcoming renewals, renewal pipeline status, and at-risk accounts, and proactively alert account teams ahead of key renewal dates.
  • Support sales teams with quote creation, pricing, and order processing in Salesforce CPQ and Revenue Cloud, ensuring products, pricing, and quote terms are accurate and compliant with policy.
  • Prepare pipeline, forecast, and Closed Won analysis for regional and executive sales reviews, with insights by product, region, segment, and sales representative.
  • Build quarterly business reviews (QBRs) for sales and revenue leadership, consolidating bookings, pipeline, forecast accuracy, renewals, and key performance trends against targets.
  • Deliver executive-ready business performance analysis and presentations that highlight risks, opportunities, and recommended actions for senior leadership.
  • Resolve operational requests and inquiries from the sales organization.
  • Monitor CRM data quality and partner with sales teams to keep account, opportunity, quote, and contract data accurate and complete.
  • Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement of sales processes, policies, and best practices.
  • Provide training and guidance to regional sales teams on CRM, quoting, and pricing processes.
  • Gather business requirements and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for CRM, CPQ, and Revenue Cloud enhancements in partnership with the Salesforce administration team.
  • Document standard operating procedures, deal desk guidelines, and reporting methodologies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales operations, deal desk, or revenue operations within a SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software company with recurring revenue business models.
  • Hands-on experience using Salesforce CPQ to build quotes, apply pricing and discounting, and route deals for approval.
  • Hands-on experience using Salesforce Revenue Cloud to manage orders, contracts, amendments, and renewals.
  • Proven experience running or supporting deal desk processes, including deal review, approval workflows, and commercial governance.
  • Advanced proficiency building Salesforce reports and dashboards as a business user (Salesforce administration experience is not required).
  • Solid understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, forecasting, and ARR/subscription metrics.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis) and strong presentation skills in PowerPoint.
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization, reporting, and planning tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and IBM Planning Analytics (TM1).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across sales, finance, legal, and contract administration.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in financial services software or fintech, particularly supporting sales to banks and other financial institutions.
  • Experience supporting multi-region sales teams (e.g., EMEA, APAC, Americas) across time zones.
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management and contract administration processes.
  • Project management or PMO experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience using AI tools to streamline routine tasks and generate business insights.
  • Salesforce CPQ or Revenue Cloud certification.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

  • Salesforce CPQ and Revenue Cloud.
  • Salesforce Reports and Dashboards.
  • Deal Desk Operations and Approval Governance.
  • Quote-to-Cash and Contract Renewal Management.
  • Pipeline Management and Revenue Forecasting.
  • Data Analysis and Visualization (Excel, Tableau, Power BI, TM1).

SOFT SKILLS
