Data Scientist

TELUS Santé is looking for a Data Scientist to join the Analytics and AI team, leveraging health and wellness data to obtain valuable insights and develop intelligent AI-based solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, epidemiology, or a quantitative field
• 3-6 years of practical experience in data science, machine learning, or advanced analysis
• Experience working with health and wellness data (e.g., electronic health records, claims data, biometric data, mental health program data)
• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform services, particularly BigQuery, Vertex AI, Cloud Storage, and Dataflow
• Strong experience creating dashboards and reports in Tableau, Looker, or Power BI
• Proven experience in developing autonomous AI systems, including multi-agent architectures, large language model orchestration, and tooling frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI)
• Solid foundation in mathematical modeling, including statistical inference, optimization, simulation, and predictive modeling
• Experience conducting capital investment return analysis and transforming analytical results into business value narratives for senior leadership
• Proficiency in Python or R, with experience using libraries like Scikit-learn or others
• Strong understanding of data confidentiality, security, and compliance requirements in a healthcare context
