Role Overview
Manage the financial operations of CHHS while supporting the strategic plan under the direction of the Dean of the College in concert with the policies and procedures of the University.
What You Will Do
Plans, directs and manages the business affairs of the College of Health and Human Sciences consistent with the mission, goals and expected outcomes based on a thorough knowledge of university policies and procedures as well as accounting and business principles.

Requires a minimum of 2 years progressively responsible work experience in budget and fiscal office management, preferably in higher educational setting with extensive knowledge of fund accounting.
Requirements
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree
- Master’s degree in relevant field
- 2 years progressively responsible work experience in budget and fiscal office management
- Extensive knowledge of fund accounting
- Advanced computer skills
- Workday experience in Human Resources and Financials
- Prior supervisory experience
- Budget management, analytical, organizational and goal setting skills
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Intimate knowledge of the administrative workings of the College and The University of Akron (including policies and procedures)
- Experience in working directly with the Budget Office, Finance and Administration Office and the Office of Academic Affairs
