Role Overview

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in expanding Trescal’s presence within the manufacturing and process industries with an emphasis on regulated sectors, including Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, and Aerospace.

What You Will Do

You will identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities, help clients improve quality, maintain compliance with industry standards, and ensure confidence in their measurements.

Why It Might Be a Fit

You will engage with clients and prospects, develop a pipeline of opportunities, and lead and coordinate RFQ and RFP responses to ensure client specifications are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in business development or sales within calibration, metrology, testing, validation services, or test, measurement and calibration instrumentation
  • Proven track record of selling professional services into the manufacturing and process industries
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems, regulatory compliance, and documentation standards
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual collaboration platforms
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities under deadline pressure
