Senior Product Data Scientist

As a Senior Product Data Scientist at Tripadvisor, you will be responsible for leading the development of data science within the product team, producing statistical models that impact the product and customer experience, and mentoring a team of product analysts. The role requires significant experience in data science, advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, and the ability to communicate complex data insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Significant experience in data science or a similar quantitative role
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL
• Deep, hands-on experience with statistical modeling, (quasi) experimentation, multi-arm bandit, and a wide range of machine learning techniques
• Demonstrated ability to define, implement, and operationalize crucial product and feature-level metrics from scratch
• Proven ability to lead technical discussions, drive product strategy, and communicate complex insights effectively to cross-functional partners
