Retention Marketing Specialist I

The Retention Marketing Specialist owns the day-to-day execution of email and SMS production for our clients, managing end-to-end production and keeping timelines on track across design, strategy, and client teams.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in retention marketing, specifically across email, SMS, CRM, or loyalty programs.
  • Hands-on experience with an Email Service Platform (ESP), with a strong preference for Klaviyo.
  • Strong copywriting skills for direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce, with the ability to adapt tone and style to match different client brands.
  • A solid understanding of email analytics and the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategy.
  • Clear understanding of the difference between marketing campaigns and automated flows, and knowing when to deploy each.
  • Proficiency in building segmented customer lists using behavioral and transactional data.
  • Experience working within Shopify or directly supporting Shopify-based clients.
  • A proactive, organized approach, with the ability to think through the entire customer journey and work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team.
