Venture & Growth Debt – Associate – London

We are seeking an Associate to join our Venture & Growth Debt team in London. As an Associate, you will play a leading role in underwriting and executing venture debt transactions, working closely with senior team members while taking ownership of key analytical and structuring workstreams.

Requirements

• Typically 3–6 years’ experience in venture debt, VC/growth equity, private credit, investment banking, consulting or related roles
• Motivated team player. Flexible and open-minded in approach
• Demonstrated experience underwriting and executing transactions
• Strong credit judgement and structuring capability
• Experience managing transaction processes and working with legal documentation
• Commercial mindset with strong stakeholder management skills
• Clear communicator with leadership potential
• High integrity and alignment with BlackRock’s fiduciary culture
