Financial Planning & Analysis Senior Analyst

Role Overview

The Senior Analyst is a member of Vertex’s Financial Planning & Analysis team supporting a number of functions by providing financial analyses including identification of key value drivers and business key performance indicators (KPIs). Helps functions achieve their short- and long-term goals through proactive day-to-day decision support.

What You Will Do

Conduct the financial performance management process for assigned functions, including the monthly forecast process, and support the financial planning process for assigned functions to provide relevant, forward-looking observations.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The role requires strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge of Hyperion, and comprehensive understanding of accounting and finance principles, financial modeling, and valuations with strong financial analysis and interpretation skills.

Requirements

• Experience in the Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical industry
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Typically requires 2 years of relevant financial experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
