Why This Role Matters

Vertical Insure’s Sales Operations function supports the systems, data, and processes that power our Sales, Marketing, and Account Management teams. The Sales Operations Specialist will work closely with the Sales Operations Manager to execute day-to-day operational needs while building toward independent ownership of projects that directly impact GTM performance.

What You’ll Do

CRM & Tech Stack Administration

  • Maintain HubSpot CRM hygiene, including contact, company, and deal record accuracy, property management, and deduplication
  • Build and update HubSpot workflows, sequences, and automation to support Sales, Marketing, and Account Management processes
  • Support management and troubleshooting of integrated tools across the GTM tech stack
  • Assist in the implementation and configuration of new platforms as the tech stack evolves with the business

Reporting & Analytics

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports in HubSpot and connected tools to surface pipeline health, conversion metrics, and campaign performance for GTM leadership
  • Support attribution reporting and revenue analytics tied to marketing and sales activities
  • Respond to ad hoc data requests from Sales, Marketing, and Account Management stakeholders with clean, clearly communicated outputs

Process & Project Support

  • Document and maintain SOPs for recurring operational processes across GTM functions
  • Contribute to the scoping and execution of special Ops projects, including systems integrations, process redesigns, and automation builds
  • Proactively surface process gaps, data inconsistencies, and opportunities to improve operational efficiency

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a day-to-day operational resource for Sales, Marketing, and Account Management — comfortable fielding requests, setting expectations, and delivering without heavy oversight
  • Partner with the Sales Operations Manager on GTM planning cycles, tooling evaluations, and cross-functional initiatives in a fast-moving, ambiguous startup environment

Who You Are

  • 1–2 years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Marketing Operations, or a related analytical or operational role
  • Hands-on experience with a CRM platform, HubSpot strongly preferred
  • Comfortable working with data: pulling reports, dashboards, workflows, identifying trends, and communicating findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong organizational habits and attention to detail in a fast-moving environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders independently

Experience That Goes the Extra Mile

  • Familiarity with marketing automation, ABM tools, or GTM attribution concepts
  • Exposure to data management concepts, including structuring, cleaning, and moving data across systems — whether through technical tools, workflow automation, or hands-on experience with APIs and integrations
  • Background in fintech, insurance, or vertical SaaS industries

What We Offer

The estimated base salary for this role is: $60,000 – $70,000 per year, depending on the level of experience, job-related knowledge, and skills. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, life insurance, flexible PTO, 401(k), paid parental leave, gym membership, and more.

Location: Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid – in office Tuesdays and Thursdays)
