About the role

A leading global financial & investor relations communications firm, is currently seeking an Account Director to join its team in SINGAPORE. With a renowned reputation globally this firm has a growing presence across APAC and can provide excellent career opportunities to work with large blue-chip firms across the region.

The ideal candidate should have experience within Financial Communications and have established themselves as an expert across hot button issues such as, capital markets, ESG, and financial trends etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead client development and new business initiatives for Financial PR in financial services
• Serve as day-to-day contact for some of the firm’s largest clients in local and regional markets
• Manage team leads on client projects, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables
• Advise clients on critical issues, brand reputation and challenging financial situations
• Create innovative communication strategies and plans to drive client business growth

About the Candidate

• University degree
• Excellent Hong Kong financial media relations
• Minimum 8-10+ years of experience in communications, financial services, financial markets, ideally with in a consulting setting
• A demonstrated understanding about capital markets a must
• Experience working with clients in financial services, and corporate communications
• Excellent written, verbal communication, presentation, and organizational skills
• Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to think and write creatively and strategically
• Knowledge about HK listings and compliance a plus
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative spirit
