About Weave Asia Weave Asia is a digital marketing agency specialising in SEO and AI visibility. We help businesses get found on Google and in AI answers like ChatGPT, Gemini and Google’s AI Overviews. Since 2018 we’ve grown to a team of 20+ across Singapore and Kota Kinabalu, working with 80+ retainer clients.
The role We’re looking for a Client Manager who runs their accounts like they own them. You’ll look after your own portfolio of clients from end to end: the relationship, the strategy, the results and the renewal.
You won’t be doing the SEO or ads yourself. Our SEO, content, web and Ads specialists do the execution, and a support team in Malaysia prepares client updates and performance stats. You decide what the client needs, make sure it gets done and make sure the client sees the value.
You’ll work within our systems and processes, and you’ll own the results for your clients.
What you’ll do

Own your client relationships
Be the main point of contact for your portfolio and run monthly review calls
Understand each client’s business, customers and competitors well enough to advise them, not just update them
Set clear expectations on timelines and what SEO, AI visibility and ads can realistically achieve
Handle difficult conversations early, before they turn into cancellations
Set the strategy
Turn client goals into an account roadmap and clear briefs for our specialists
Explain results in business terms (leads, enquiries, visibility against competitors) rather than just rankings or clicks
Bring clients new ideas before they ask
Make sure it gets delivered
Hold our specialists to deadlines and quality; you’re the last check before anything reaches the client
Manage scope, and flag work that falls outside the agreement
Work with our Malaysia support team, who prepare client updates and performance data
Mentor Client Executives
Coach the Client Executives working on your accounts: show them how to run reviews, handle clients and brief specialists
Give them regular feedback and hand over accounts as they’re ready to own them
Help them grow toward Client Manager
Grow your portfolio
Own renewals for your clients
Spot and lead upsell opportunities, such as adding AI visibility, content, web or ads for an existing client
Follow up on overdue invoices on your accounts
Suggest improvements to how we work, and make them happen
What we’re looking for

You’re someone who:
Takes ownership. Your clients are your responsibility, and you see things through without being chased
Is self-driven. You set your own priorities, manage your own time and don’t need daily check-ins
Thinks commercially. You care about keeping and growing clients, not just keeping them happy
Figures things out. When you don’t know something, you look it up, try it, then ask a sharper question
Stays calm and organised across many clients and competing priorities
Enjoys developing others and sharing what you know
Must have
2+ years in a client-facing role: agency account management, client servicing, customer success or consultative sales
A track record of keeping clients, renewing contracts or growing accounts. We’ll ask for examples
Confident, clear communication with business owners and marketing managers, both in writing and on calls
Comfort reading performance reports and explaining what the numbers mean
Good to have
Agency or digital marketing experience
Working knowledge of SEO tools (Google Search Console, GA4, Semrush, Ahrefs) or paid ads (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok Ads)
Interest in AI search and how brands show up in tools like ChatGPT and Google’s AI Overviews
Experience using AI tools to work faster
You don’t need to be an SEO expert on day one. You do need to be good with clients, commercially minded and able to work independently.

We measure Client Managers on client retention, revenue growth across their portfolio, client satisfaction and on-time delivery.

Salary and benefits

S$4,000–$5,000 a month, depending on experience
Commission on client renewals and upsells across your portfolio
