Position Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst will serve as the primary finance partner at a manufacturing facility. This individual-contributor role works closely with plant leadership while remaining connected to the broader corporate finance organization.
Core Responsibilities
- Own recurring budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis for the manufacturing site.
- Analyze plant results across production volume, labor, inventory, materials, supply chain and operating costs.
- Prepare variance explanations and translate financial results into actions for plant leadership.
- Support month-end reporting, operating reviews and financial planning activities.
- Spend time on the plant floor to understand operating processes, cost drivers and performance opportunities.
- Partner with manufacturing, production, inventory, materials and supply chain colleagues on business decisions.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- At least three years of financial planning and analysis, manufacturing finance or related operational finance experience.
- Working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and management reporting.
- Strong Excel and analytical skills with the ability to explain findings clearly.
- Comfort working directly with plant leaders and employees across operating functions.
- Ability to work onsite in Medina five days per week.
- Experience supporting a manufacturing plant or other asset-intensive operation.
- Exposure to standard costing, inventory analysis, labor efficiency or product-cost analysis.
- Experience with Power BI or a major enterprise resource planning platform.
