About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Data Officer (CDO) to lead the transformation and development of its global enterprise data platform. The CDO will be responsible for architecting, building, and scaling the data organization and strategy to deliver advanced data integration, master data management, governance, and analytics solutions. This role requires a visionary leader who can create a modern enterprise data ecosystem, champion technical innovation, and ensure robust governance and accessibility. The CDO will also be tasked with designing and building a world-class data organization, including recruiting and mentoring high-performing global teams.

Candidates for the CDO position at the company should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree highly preferred, and at least 15 years of experience in enterprise data and analytics, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building and leading data functions, extensive experience in data governance, and a deep understanding of insurance data models and business processes. Technical skills should include advanced hands-on experience with cloud-native data platforms, Medallion architecture, and a range of data engineering technologies. The CDO will also be expected to have strong financial management skills, outstanding leadership abilities, and certifications in relevant areas.
