About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Medical Officer, Markets to provide enterprise medical leadership and ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care across its various markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating clinical standards, care model expectations, and business priorities into consistent field execution. This role involves developing and holding regional medical leaders accountable, partnering with operations and population health, and strengthening medical leadership to reduce unwarranted variation and advance clinical outcomes. The CMO will also be involved in setting and maintaining a consistent review cadence for market performance, defining shared goals, and ensuring that operating decisions account for clinical risk.

Applicants must have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with an active, unrestricted license, and current board certification in a relevant medical specialty. A minimum of 10 years of progressive medical leadership experience in a complex care-delivery organization is required, along with a strong background in value-based care, Medicare populations, and clinical quality. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing performance, leading medical teams, and a preference for experience in home-based primary care, geriatrics, or related fields. The role demands a leader who is willing and able to travel regularly and maintain a visible connection to field teams, as well as someone who is adept at recruiting, coaching, and retaining senior medical staff.
