We are seeking a Chief Operating Officer / Integrator to partner directly with our Founder & CEO and serve as the primary operational executive of the company.
This is not a maintenance role. We are looking for a builder who can help transform a founder-led growth company into a more scalable healthcare organization with stronger systems, clearer accountability, better financial visibility, and expanded capacity for growth.

An Opportunity
InSight Recovery & Wellness is a growing, physician-led behavioral healthcare organization providing psychiatry, addiction medicine, MAT, counseling, medical directorships, and facility-based clinical services across Tennessee.
We have built a strong clinical foundation and grown steadily over the past several years. Our model works. Our next challenge is scale.
The Role
The COO / Integrator will take ownership of the internal operating engine of InSight, including:
- Day-to-day business operations
- Financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting
- Revenue cycle oversight and optimization
- Leadership accountability and execution
- Clinic and facility operations
- Provider productivity and operational efficiency
- Staffing and organizational planning
- Systems and process improvement
- Execution of strategic growth initiatives
The COO will also play an important role in InSight’s next phase of growth, including additional clinic locations, hospital partnerships, and expansion of facility-based services.
The successful candidate will combine operational discipline with entrepreneurial judgment and naturally look for opportunities to improve both patient care and business performance.
What Success Looks Like
During the first year, we expect this leader to help:
- Grow InSight’s annualized revenue run rate by 1.5x
- Strengthen revenue cycle performance and financial visibility
- Build reliable dashboards and operating metrics
- Improve provider utilization and operational efficiency
- Establish clear accountability across departments
- Strengthen clinic and facility operations
- Reduce dependence on the Founder for day-to-day management
- Build scalable systems capable of supporting continued growth
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a proven healthcare operator, ideally with 8+ years of progressive healthcare leadership experience and meaningful exposure to the broad mechanics of running a healthcare business.
Strong candidates may have experience in physician practices, multi-site outpatient organizations, MSOs, specialty healthcare companies, or other small to mid-sized healthcare businesses.
Experience should include several of the following:
- Healthcare operations
- P&L or significant financial responsibility
- Revenue cycle management
- Healthcare finance and reporting
- Provider productivity and staffing models
- Payer contracting or reimbursement
- Multi-site operations
- Organizational growth and scaling
- Developing and leading high-performing teams
Behavioral health experience is welcome but not required. We value broad healthcare operating experience, judgment, and leadership ability more than specialty-specific experience.
Who Will Thrive Here
The right person is:
- A servant leader with low ego and high accountability
- Financially and commercially minded
- Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment
- Resourceful when resources are limited
- Direct, thoughtful, and willing to address difficult issues
- Organized without being bureaucratic
- Able to challenge a physician founder constructively
- Passionate about developing leaders rather than controlling every decision
- Energized by building organizations rather than simply maintaining them
We are particularly interested in executives who have worked close enough to the business to understand how healthcare actually operates – not only leaders whose careers have been confined to narrow functions within large corporate systems.
Our Culture
Our core values guide how we care for patients, work with partners, and lead one another:
Dedicated to Excellence
Led by Compassion
Rooted in Humility
Remarkably Flexible
Highly Collaborative
The COO / Integrator will be expected to protect these values while helping build the structure and accountability required for a larger organization.
Compensation
InSight will offer an executive-level compensation package designed to align the COO with the long-term success of the company, including:
- Competitive base compensation
- Performance-based bonus tied to growth and profitability
- Comprehensive benefits
- Potential long-term incentive opportunity for the right candidate
We are looking for more than an executive employee. We are looking for a long-term operating partner who wants to roll up their sleeves with us and help build the next stage of InSight.
