We are seeking a driven and innovative Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to drive sales for TicketNetwork and identify new opportunities to drive new and return business and maximize revenue returns. The CRO, reporting directly to our CEO, will be responsible for optimizing sales strategy, identifying new ways to gain market share in the live event ticketing industry, using analytics to increase revenue, and identify ways to increase sales team performance to meet company goals.

By implementing ways to align marketing, sales, customer service, and product development, the Chief Revenue Officer will establish reliable analytics to forecast demand and market conditions and execute dynamic strategies to identify areas of opportunity and operational deficiencies, with the goal of helping TicketNetwork be bigger and better than ever.

Responsibilities

  • Be knowledgeable and stay informed on all aspects about the live event ticketing industry and TicketNetwork’s position within it in order to make strategic, revenue-related decisions to best effect.
  • Review and recommend improvements to e-commerce strategy focusing on generating new business and return business.
  • In collaboration with executive leadership, gain a full understanding of TicketNetwork’s historical and current revenue strategy to identify areas of success and areas of improvement.
  • Build strong, cross-functional relationships between sales, marketing, customer service, and product support to ensure a cohesive vision with the goal of increasing revenue.
  • Develop competitive metrics to assess sales and customer support performance and lay groundwork for increasing efficiency focusing on data-driven decision making and accountability.
  • Track and analyze the efficacy of sales, marketing, and brand strategies to ensure alignment with company mission and achieve results.
  • Conduct research to identify opportunities internally and externally to grow TicketNetwork’s business.
  • Leverage financial and market data to identify strategies to increase revenue.
  • Create processes for outreach to new and existing customers with the goal of capturing and retaining customer business.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to set short-term and long-term goals, as well as roadmap in which to achieve them.

Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to connect analytics and process to present and execute a cohesive revenue building strategy
  • Ability to work with executive team members as a peer to align sales processes with company goals
  • Innovative and entrepreneurial mindset aimed at identifying out-of-the-box solutions
  • Exemplary follow-through and ability to bring a new process from idea to execution
  • Strong leadership skills

Required Experience:

  • Must have experience in revenue leadership for an e-commerce company
  • Must have experience leveraging data and analytics to drive corporate strategy
  • Proven track record of growing revenue using multifaceted strategies including sales, customer support, and product development
  • Experience in P&L supervision
  • Experience in executive leadership with hands-on experience in developing revenue strategy

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Finance or related field required
  • Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Finance or related field preferred

Work schedule

Hybrid with 3 days a week in the office.
