Zinnia is a leading technology platform for accelerating life and annuities growth. We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our data team to help uncover opportunities and make decisions with data. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing technological choices and implementation of data pipelines and warehousing philosophy, executing and serving as lead and/or SME on cross-organizational and cross-divisional projects, and promoting technical best practices throughout the data organization.
Requirements
- A Technical Bachelor/Master’s Degree
- 5+ years of experience across Data Engineering
- Extensive experience with data engineering techniques, Python and using SQL
- Familiarity and working knowledge of Airflow and dbt
- Comfortable with data engineering tooling such as Jira, git, buildkite, Terraform, Snowflake, airflow, dbt and containers as well as GCP suite, terraform kubernetes, cloud functions
