We are seeking a Software Engineer – Marketplace Growth to help customers discover, onboard, and become repeat users of Zipline delivery. The role involves designing and building software systems that drive customer acquisition, activation, referral, and retention. The ideal candidate has strong engineering fundamentals, customer curiosity, product instinct, and an experimentation mindset.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building customer-facing software systems
- Strong engineering fundamentals across frontend and backend systems
- Experience improving acquisition, onboarding, activation, or retention metrics
- Comfort working with data, analytics, experimentation, and attribution systems
- Strong product instincts and customer empathy
- Extreme-ownership mindset
- Curiosity about customer behavior and growth dynamics
- A bias toward action, experimentation, and rapid iteration
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
