Role Overview

We need a versatile Sales & RevOps Specialist to:

  • Support proposal creation and follow-up
  • Handle light qualification/demo calls and client check-ins
  • Maintain HubSpot data hygiene and reporting
  • Build and manage Clay automations
  • Set up simple sales/marketing funnels

This is a part-time (8–16 hrs/week) contract role, fully remote (UK time zone preferred), with potential to grow into a full-time Head of RevOps position as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Support & Client Touchpoints

  • Take 1–3 brief qualification/demo calls per week (15–20 min each) to assess fit, gather ROI inputs, and schedule deeper discussions.
  • Perform client check-ins during live pilots (e.g., “How’s the platform working? Any issues?”) to drive satisfaction and surface upsell opportunities.
  • Draft and send proposals within 48 hrs of a discovery call. Schedule follow-up emails and update HubSpot tasks to ensure timely follow-through.

HubSpot Management & Reporting

  • Keep CRM data clean: update contact records, deal stages, and next-step tasks.
  • Create simple weekly reports: new leads, discovery calls booked, pilots in progress, and MRR forecast.
  • Build a dashboard tracking pilot→license conversion, average deal velocity, and basic funnel metrics.

Automations (Clay)

  • Build Clay workflows for data enrichment (e.g., pulling company info from LinkedIn/Crunchbase) on new HubSpot contacts.
  • Automate form submissions → HubSpot deal creation → email sequences.
  • Monitor existing automations—resolve duplicates or missing-field issues.
  • Document each workflow’s inputs, triggers, and outputs for team reference.

Funnel Setup & Optimisation

Design and deploy a simple 4-step funnel:

  • Lead Capture: LinkedIn/email outreach → gated lead magnet.
  • Nurture: Automated 3–4-step email sequence highlighting pilot outcomes.
  • Demo/Pilot Offer: Book discovery calls → send teaser deck + Loom demo → offer 30-day pilot.
  • Conversion: Day-30 ROI review → prompt for full license conversion.

Create and A/B test email templates (subject lines, CTAs) for each stage. Build landing pages in HubSpot or equivalent, integrating with Clay to auto-populate new leads in CRM.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years in a combined Sales/RevOps role at early-stage B2B SaaS or AI startup.
  • HubSpot Expertise: Confident setting up properties, workflows, basic dashboards, and maintaining data hygiene independently.
  • Clay (or Similar) Proficiency: Demonstrable experience building and managing automation workflows.
  • Sales & Client Engagement: Comfortable running short qualification/demo calls and basic client check-ins alongside our Commercial Lead.
  • Funnel Design & Execution: Proven track record creating end-to-end sales/marketing funnels with measurable results (open rates, CTR, conversion).
  • Excellent written communication: can draft concise proposals, nurture emails, and process documentation (Notion or Google Docs).
  • Self-starter who thrives with minimal oversight in a startup, asks clarifying questions, and drives tasks to completion.

Nice-to-Have

  • Familiarity with Zapier, Make.com, or Airtable.
  • Experience in EdTech or micro-learning businesses.
  • Basic understanding of AI (RAG, knowledge-base engines) to collaborate with CTO.
  • Previous exposure to outcome-share or value-based pricing models.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £30,272.00-£50,501.00 per year
