Role Overview
AbbVie is seeking an inspiring people leader as the National Sales Lead, Oncology, to lead a high-performing National Sales Team in Australia. This highly visible national leadership role involves spending time in the field coaching and developing a talented team while partnering across the business to deliver meaningful outcomes for healthcare professionals and patients. The role contributes to AbbVie’s growing Oncology portfolio.
What You Will Do
Lead and inspire a high-performing National Sales Team by building capability, coaching individuals, and fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration. Translate Brand and Marketing strategies into customer-centric field plans, balance portfolio priorities, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated customer engagement and business outcomes. Manage the National Sales budget and lead strategic projects.

Requirements
- Tertiary Qualifications in a science, business or management discipline or equivalent
- Proven ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement
- Focus on developing talent, enhancing performance and driving customer-centric engagement through strong coaching and capability building skills
- Strong strategic and commercial acumen, with the ability to translate business strategy into effective field execution and sustainable growth
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise resources and adapt to changing business needs, balancing short-term delivery with long-term objectives
- Exceptional cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across Medical, Marketing, Market Access and Corporate Affairs
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority
- Proven ability to identify opportunities, solve complex problems and drive strategic initiatives to successful outcomes
- Comprehensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare environment
- Oncology experience is highly regarded, in haematology and/or solid tumours
