Senior Fraud Data Scientist

Role Overview

As a Senior Fraud Data Scientist, you will lead the development of high-value analytical solutions to identify emerging risks and suspicious behavior. You will work closely with investigators, prevention teams, and stakeholders to translate complex problems into practical solutions. You will provide coaching and guidance to data scientists and intelligence analysts, contribute to strong model and system governance, and take ownership of solutions from problem definition through to deployment and ongoing optimization.

Apply advanced statistical modeling, machine learning, and AI techniques to develop robust solutions. Work closely with investigators, prevention teams, and stakeholders to translate complex problems into practical solutions that enable effective action.

Requirements

• At least 3-5 years of practical experience applying data science in fraud prevention, risk, analytics, or a closely related field
• Advanced SQL and Python capability
• Experience applying machine learning and statistical modeling in production
• Proven technical leadership, including mentoring and coaching analysts or data scientists
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience working within privacy, security, and ethical data frameworks
