Role Overview

Accenture is looking for a Data Engineer who thrives on solving complex data challenges in a dynamic cloud environment. The role involves developing and deploying end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Services, handling streaming and batch data ingestion, transformation, and storage, and designing with security, scalability, and retention in mind.

The Data Engineer will develop and deploy data pipelines, handle data ingestion and transformation, and design solutions with security and scalability in mind. They will also team up with business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into solutions.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in data modeling, relational & non-relational data and workloads
• Familiarity with Azure tech stack: Databricks, ADLS, Synapse, Azure SQL, ADF (or in similar tools within AWS/GCP)
• Fluency in SQL (Postgres, MSSQL) and one or more languages like Python, PySpark, Scala or C#
• Agile mindset – you’ve shipped things before and you’re comfortable with change
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or a related field
• English proficiency at Upper intermediate (B2) or Advanced (C1), German language is nice to have
