Net Rev Business Intelligence Analyst

Role Overview

Designs, develops, and maintains reports, scorecards, and dashboards to effectively tell the story of data and highlight anomalies. Performs data mining, queries, and extractions to acquire, aggregate, and manage large complex datasets. Conducts root cause analyses to surface actionable insights and supports data-driven decision making.

What You Will Do

Designs and develops reports, scorecards, and dashboards, performs data mining and queries, conducts root cause analyses, and escalates issues to leadership when appropriate.

Requirements

• Fundamental awareness of data querying techniques (i.e., Structured Query Language, Power Query, Power Pivot)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Advanced knowledge of Excel or other databasing software to organize data, develop data models for analysis, and create visualizations
• Basic knowledge of one or more business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Business Objects, QlikView, Oracle Business Intelligence, HPM, Minitab or similar.)
• Proficiency in performance of basic mathematical and statistical concepts (e.g., regression analysis)
• Ability to solve complex analytics related problems involving large data by using data collection methods, root cause analysis, establishing facts, exercises experience and objective independent judgment to draw valid conclusions
• Ability to multitask, coordinate multiple priorities, projects, and issues in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Ability to work independently while providing on-time concise, high quality deliverables
• Has an aptitude to extract, aggregate, transform, cleanse, compile and manage data, and can do data modelling and visualization to effectively and objectively tell the story of the data
• Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude, ability to be responsive to ever-changing needs in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, meet deadlines and perform
