Role Overview

Join The AES Corporation, a global power company with a team of 8,300 employees across 12 countries. As an FP&A Analyst, you will support the company’s financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and analytical activities.

What You Will Do

Prepare and maintain monthly and annual forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans. Perform variance analysis, develop financial models, and analyze operating expenses, capital expenditures, revenue, and cash flow trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 1 or 2 years of experience in FP&A, project finance, or a related financial analysis role
  • Financial modeling skills in Excel
  • Experience with SAP, BPC, Anaplan, or comparable planning tools
  • Solid grounding in GAAP across the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement
  • Familiarity with project finance structures, joint ventures, or bond/lender reporting
