Inside Sales Representative – Automation Consumables

Role Overview

We are currently looking for an Inside Sales Representative for Automation Consumables to join the European Inside Sales Team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales for automation consumables in a defined territory primarily through outbound and inbound sales activities via telephone, email, and other digital methods. In this function, you will closely work together with the Automation Sales Specialists in EMEA. In this critical role, you will leverage your sales skills and knowledge of the life science and chemical analysis markets to achieve success.

What You Will Do

Meet sales objectives by driving inside and online sales opportunities for automation consumables. Develop and maintain effective customer relations with purchasing and end-user contacts within assigned territory. Handle your own sales funnel using your own initiative to identify business opportunities by taking a proactive, creative approach.

Requirements

• University degree within the science field (e.g., Biochemistry, biology, chemistry, biotechnology, or similar)
• Relevant experience in analytical techniques in a similar position or as an end user, preferable on automation and/or liquid chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry in Life Sciences applications (proteomics, biopharma, pharma, metabolomics)
• Experience in Sales is required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is essential. Other languages at proficiency level are a plus
