National Sales Manager, Surgical

Role Overview

The National Sales Manager, Surgical will be responsible for managing sales and operations for the Surgical portfolio, with a focus on maximizing long-term sales and profitability for Alcon products. The role will work closely with Enabling Functions and spend significant time in the field with key customers and stakeholders. It is also responsible for developing talent and building a strong, high-performance culture within the Surgical franchise.

What You Will Do

The National Sales Manager, Surgical will be responsible for building short- and mid-term vision for the Surgical franchise, delivering the full commercial plan, and leading the design and implementation of the go-to-market model for Surgical. The role will also manage day-to-day activities of field force, build strong relationships with key opinion leaders, and leverage sales enablement tools and CRM systems to support performance management and reporting.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of experience in marketing & sales within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar business or commercial leadership role within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry
• Bachelor’s degree, Preferred: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Business Management, Medical Engineering/Bioengineering, Ophthalmology-related sciences or a related field
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and influencing in a matrix environment
• Proficiency in English
