Role Overview
This role plays a critical role in shaping how data and AI drive decision making at Allstate. As a data science leader, you will guide and mentor junior data scientists, lead medium to high complexity initiatives, and influence how data driven decisions are designed, evaluated, and scaled across the enterprise.
What You Will Do
Reviews, evaluates, communicates and makes recommendations on appropriateness of modeling techniques and results to team, leadership and stakeholders to ensure these are well understood and incorporated into business processes.

Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of hands on, practical experience using Python for data science, modelling, and building production ready solutions
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), observability concepts, and cloud security fundamentals
- Introductory experience or strong interest in Generative or Agentic development
- Exposure to AWS Bedrock and/or Azure Foundry through projects, coursework, or on‐the‐job experience
