Role Overview
The Amazon Advertising team seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join its finance department to support the Advertising Marketing team. The role will work closely with finance and business teams in creation of advertiser insights, validating financial results for Marketing investments and advertising product growth initiatives, and driving controllership.
What You Will Do
Key job responsibilities include controllership of Marketing investment, understanding actuals, challenging variances and tracking action plans to bring financial results back to plan when necessary, producing and analyzing performance metrics to establish and measure business goals, and participating in projects that drive efficiency or quality.

The Senior Financial Analyst will need to roll up her/his sleeves, work independently, and have a high level of ownership and accountability. The role will collaborate with Marketing business leaders on a daily basis and will be contributing to overall financial modeling and analysis during requirements planning and business reviews.
Requirements
- 3+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 3+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 3+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
- 3+ years of finance, accounting, or related analytical field experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, tax, economics, or a related analytical field
