Donations Growth and Development Manager (Business Development)

Role Overview

The Account Manager will serve as a representative for America’s Thrift Stores focused on expanding donated thrift supply through various initiatives; securing and managing high volume accounts, donation locations, and fostering partnerships with our charity partners to drive sustained growth across our company’s footprint.

What You Will Do

Achieve quarterly and annual goals as outlined by the Director of Donations Growth and Development, secure donation opportunities, foster and manage relationships with charity partners, and pursue growth opportunities that maximize ROI on assets and resources.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business development, administration or marketing preferred
• 3-5 years of sales and marketing experience, with a track record of self-motivated success preferred
• Strong prospecting and sales planning skills
• Proven ability to interact effectively with senior business leaders, property owners, municipal officials, and community figures
• High level of energy, proactivity, and initiative
• In-depth market knowledge
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse individuals and businesses
• Strong research, analytical, and planning abilities with attention to follow-through
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Self-motivated with integrity and a strong sense of personal accountability
