Amtrak is seeking a Lead Data Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the steady-state operations of the Revenue Management System (RMS), collaborating with Digital Technology and vendor support teams to ensure system reliability and data integrity. The role also involves applying advanced analytics, AI/ML, and Operations Research to improve RMS forecasting, optimization, and demand-pricing capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or relevant experience
- Plus 6 years of relevant work experience
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in an advanced analytical role using Operations Research or Machine Learning
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and demonstrated ability to work with large complex datasets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to relate multiple datasets from complex business processes
- Demonstrated experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for end-users
