Role Overview
The Sales Manager is responsible for soliciting and closing on assigned accounts to positively impact hotel revenues. They work with the Director of Sales to achieve revenue and market share goals for one or more properties.
What You Will Do
The Sales Manager will solicit assigned accounts, make sales appointments, and conduct sales specific to Business Travel and/or Groups. They will also monitor production of top accounts, evaluate trends, and meet sales solicitation call goals.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a hotel or related field, be proficient with Windows operating systems, and have strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- College course work in related field desired
- Experience in a hotel or related field preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficient with Windows operating systems
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Ability to work well in stressful, high pressure situations
- Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- Ability to handle problems in the workplace
- Ability to work with and understand financial information and data
