Business Development Specialist

The Business Development Specialist will play a key role in the WERC program, developing, recruiting, and managing partnerships with employment sector in Edmonton and surrounding region. The role requires strong relationship, communication, entrepreneurial, and self-starter skills to find quality job placements for program participants.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education is an asset but not required
• Prior experience in job placement and/or building customer relationships is preferred
• Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Intermediate skill level working in online database tools
• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
• A valid driver’s license
