Role Overview
Reporting to the Manager, Marketing & Communications, this role leads the planning and delivery of marketing initiatives for the Canadian Bar Association, Alberta Branch (CBA Alberta), while contributing to selected cross-branch initiatives with the Canadian Bar Association, BC Branch (CBABC). This is a hands-on role combining marketing planning, project management and execution.
What You Will Do
Develop promotional plans, creates compelling content, manages campaign delivery across email, social media, web and other channels, and provides communications support and coverage across broader organizational functions.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing or a related field
- Post-secondary education or training in marketing, communications or another relevant discipline
- Strong marketing planning skills
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience briefing and providing project direction to production team members
- Familiarity with email marketing software, web content management systems and social media management tools
- Experience working within the legal sector, a professional association, membership organization or comparable stakeholder environment is an asset
