Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Representative position is multifaceted in nature, combining sales support, administrative coordination, and technical assistance. This position plays a critical role in supporting the outside sales team by helping to identify opportunities, review project specifications and drawings, contribute to proposal development, and manage internal booking processes.

Requirements

• Research, identify, and track bid opportunities through online bid/specification platforms and construction opportunity databases.
• Collaborate with outside sales representatives to review project documentation, perform take-offs, and interpret engineering drawings to support accurate estimates.
• Support the proposal development process by assembling documentation, technical references, compliance materials, and formatted proposal packages.
• Facilitate the internal booking process for awarded projects, ensuring all required documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
• Act as a liaison between outside sales and internal teams—including design/engineering, operations, and finance—to ensure alignment on project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
• Assist with customer communications (e.g., documentation follow-ups, confirmations, clarification requests) and help troubleshoot or escalate issues that may affect proposal or booking timelines.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales support tools, templates, processes, and participate in ad hoc initiatives as directed by sales leadership.
