Global Head of Planning and Go-to-Market

Role Overview

The role is responsible for leading and integrating Costa’s global marketing planning and go-to-market process, creating a single, aligned view of priorities, capacity, dependencies, and market demand across short, medium, and long-term planning horizons.

Leading integrated marketing planning, driving market and readiness, managing portfolio prioritization and execution risk, and leading performance, learning, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading integrated marketing planning across long-range, annual, and in-year planning cycles within a complex, multi-market organisation.
• Strong expertise in go-to-market execution, including market briefing, launch readiness, adoption planning, and driving alignment from strategy through to delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale portfolios, balancing priorities, dependencies, sequencing, capacity, and competing stakeholder demands.
• Broad understanding of key marketing disciplines, including Brand, Innovation, Insight, Digital, CRM, Loyalty, Revenue Growth Management (RGM), Customer Experience, and Propositions.
• Commercially astute leader with experience operating within global and franchise environments, driving governance, performance management, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement while balancing global consistency with local market needs.
