Manager, Strategic Business Communications

The Manager of Strategic Communications is responsible for guiding and aligning the Colorado Rockies’ organizational voice, messaging, and identity across all business departments and public-facing platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, sports management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-9 years of experience in media relations or communications, preferably within professional sports.
  • Strong understanding of the local, national and international media landscape.
  • Strong writing and editing skills; proficiency in platforms and tools like Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Excel, and Word; ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Proven ability to lead direct reports and manage projects on a deadline.
  • Demonstrates high standards of integrity, work ethic, and interpersonal skills.
