DSC Marketing Manager

Role Overview

The DSC Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and controlling all aspects of the Sales & Marketing department, including financial planning, asset utilization, and employee supervision. They will consult with primary income departments to develop promotional strategies and supervise the preparation of promotional and event activities.

What You Will Do

The Marketing Manager will plan, direct, and coordinate the marketing department’s advertising, promotions, special events, and reinvestment programs. They will also manage the marketing budget, communicate results and forecasts to the General Manager, and develop marketing plans to execute business plans and grow revenue.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• Minimal bending and lifting
• Repetitious computer work
• Strong business communications skills
• Experience in reviewing and developing sales materials
• Experience analyzing and making recommendations on pricing and promotions
• Ability to create effective cross-company working relationships
• Ability to work additional and unusual hours
• Ability to draft reports and give oral and written presentations
• Knowledge of the casino entertainment industry
• Experience with advertising and/or direct marketing campaigns
• Experience with marketing promotions and/or special events
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Advertising, or related field
• Four (4) years’ experience in the management and administration of an advertising/marketing department in a casino, gaming establishment, or related advertising/marketing experience
