Lead Data Engineer

We are seeking a Lead Data Engineer with 8+ years of experience in cloud-native solutions and data architecture. The ideal candidate should have strong technical leadership experience and proficiency in Microsoft technologies, as well as other cloud platforms.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on cloud-native solutions and data architecture
• Strong experience in end-to-end data architecture and design
• Proficiency in cloud-native engineering, with a focus on Microsoft technologies
• Hands-on experience with data warehousing and data lake solutions
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Spark
• Strong knowledge of RDBMS or NoSQL databases
• Experience with DevOps/DataOps practices
• Ability to implement data validation, lineage, documentation, and monitoring at scale
• Proven ability to optimize pipelines and storage solutions for performance, cost, and reliability
• Strong technical leadership experience
• English proficiency at B2 level
• Availability for a hybrid work model, 2 times a week in the Lisbon office
