Mid-Level Financial Analyst

Role Overview

Decision Technologies is seeking a Mid-Level Financial Analyst to execute core business financial operations embedded within a Navy weapon systems Program Office in Arlington, VA. The role involves managing day-to-day budget execution, supporting major surface weapon systems, and driving the mechanics of funds execution.

What You Will Do

The selectee will perform as the Decision Technologies Financial Analyst supporting budget planning and execution across multiple appropriations, direct funding execution, Navy ERP management, NEPS & Task Planning, phasing & spend plans, financial reporting & data calls, and cross-stakeholder coordination.

The ideal candidate will have an active DOD Secret clearance, hands-on operational proficiency with Navy ERP and NEPS, and direct experience creating, routing, and executing MIPRs, Work Requests (WRs), and PR funding packages across Navy appropriations.

Requirements

• Direct Systems Experience: Hands-on operational proficiency with Navy ERP and NEPS.
• Funding Execution: Direct experience creating, routing, and executing MIPRs, Work Requests (WRs), and PR funding packages across Navy appropriations.
• Education & Professional Experience: High School Diploma / Associate Degree with 7–10 years of progressive financial management experience.
• Analytical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas) and financial modeling to evaluate budget execution health.
