Role Overview
The FP&A Manager sits within the Financial Planning & Analysis team and reports to the Senior FP&A Manager. The role plays a key part in the development and enhancement of performance analytics, financial modelling and data visualisation, ensuring decision-makers have access to timely, accurate and actionable information.
What You Will Do
The postholder is responsible for identifying and communicating key trends, risks, opportunities and performance drivers, translating complex financial and operational data into meaningful insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.

Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent)
- Professional practitioner with specialist knowledge and expertise to influence service delivery, events and activities within the organisation
- Experience of developing financial models, scenario analysis and forecasting techniques to support planning and decision-making
- Experience of producing management information, dashboards and performance reporting that provides actionable insight
- Ability to identify, evaluate and communicate financial risks, opportunities and emerging trends to support organisational performance
- Experience of implementing policies and procedures and supporting change and service improvements
- Experience of providing specialist advice and guidance to a range of customers and colleagues, including more senior colleagues
- Experience of participating in internal or external networks to share and discuss good practice, develop strong and productive working relationships and positively influence the University’s reputation
